Hello Mockingjays! 
Sorry this post took so long to write, but I've been sick and very busy with school work :P.

"Now boarding Train 492: To District 12." An automated voice sounded through the Capitol Train Station. 
'Why on earth are they calling that I'm the only one getting on that train?' I thought to myself. 
I had stayed an extra few days in the Capitol with Rue and her family (who where coming back to District 12, after Finnick had finished up some business), and as the daughter of TWO Hunger Games Victors I got an entire train to myself. Complete with my own attendants :D. Oh yeah and someone else was coming with me...
"Niall! Pick up your luggage and come on!" I cried impatiently watching my best-friend-but-according-to-the-Capitol-he-is-my-boyfriend, Niall O'Forest hastily stuff the last bit of his lunch in his mouth. 
"M commeh give meh a secund!" Niall said through a mouthful of... Well I don't really know what!
"Please hurry up before the paparazzi get here!" It was 3:00 AM and absolutely freezing. I was wearing  a blue sweater with a black undershirt, thick black leggings, and lace up brown faux fur boots. My hair was in a braid that went down to the lower part of my back, but part of it was pined up on my head so that my hair only reached my waist. Like I said before, I've never had a hair cut so my hair is very, very,very long. But my favorite part of the outfit were the accessories: my mockingjay pin on a necklace, a cozy red scarf, and my fingerless gloves.

I picked up my mahogany (no pun intended Effie!) colored suitcase, and hurried up the platform as flashes from cameras began to blind me.
"Niall, HURRY UP!" I yelled pulling him along by the arm. The paparazzi were beginning to crowd around us...
"Miss Mellark! Smile over here!"
"Finch, why are in the Capitol without your family?"
"Over here!"
"What do  you think of your stay in the Capitol?"
"Where are the Odairs?"
"What are your thoughts on the economical status of the food and profit banghanglers?" (What the heck did I just hear?)
I raised my arms to cover my face as I pushed through the sea of reporters, Niall of course was being a big help...
"OUTTA THE WAY! Oi you!" Niall followed that with some choice rated R words and threats.
"NIALL! Wash your mouth out with soap!" I gave his face a little slap (I hate it when people swear).
"Sorry Finchy."
"Don't call me that!"
"Miss! Over here!"
"Niall wave here!"
"Finch!"
"Finch!"
"Miss Finch! Can you answer some questions." I was starting to feel really claustrophobic.
"Finch, is it true your hair is insured for $14,000?"
"Finch! What are the latest updates on your life?"
"Finch!"
"Miss Mellark!"
"Finch!" Everything was beginning to get really fuzzy. Lucky I could see train ahead.
"What are you planning on doing when you get back to District 12?"
"Any new..." Niall had noticed I getting green... Oh dear,
"OI! GIVE FINCH HER SPACE!" The reporters all stood in stunned silence, I don't think they thought a fifteen year old boy could make that loud of a noise.
"I said give Finch her space... NOW!" He roared making the reporters all jump back in alarm, all mumbling apologies. Sometimes it really does help to have a boy as your best friend.
"Come on get in Finchy." Niall hopped on the train and reached out a hand to help me up. The murmurs of "aw"s from the crowd where quickly silence with a glare from Niall.
But as soon as I stepped on the train, my head began to spin.
"Are you okay?" Poor boy looked really worried.
"Yeah, just.."
And the last thing I heard was Niall screaming for a doctor as my world when black

Olympics!

Hello Mockingjays!
Who here watched the Olympic Opening Ceremonies on Friday? I did and I thought it was amazing!
I think my favorite part was watching the kids from all the countries in Great Britain singing their national anthems!
In my opinion however the American's should have been wearing flames, don't you think?!
What was your favorite part of the Opening Ceremonies? What is your favorite Olympic sport?

We have our Johanna!

Hello my beautiful Mockingjays! Gueeeeeeessssss what!?
Lionsgate just announced yesterday that Jena Malone has been cast as the axe-wielding victor from District 7 Johanna Mason!!

What do you think? I think she is perfect for the role (well she looks it, I haven't seen any of her movie I think they are for adults only). Its kinda creepy the natural resemblance to Aunt Johanna!

First Two Casts of Catching Fire!

Hey Mockingjays (thats my new nickname for my wonderful followers)! Sorry I haven't posted in like a week but I am exhausted from our journey back from the Capitol and I was spending time hanging out with my District friends!

So, we are all eagerly awaiting the Catching Fire movie right!? I'm most excited to hear who will be playing Johanna and Finnick, but recently Lionsgate announced the the first two casting decisions!

Here Wiress! She is one of my favorite characters, and I think Amanda Plummer is perfect for this role!

Philip Seymour Hoffman was cast as the Head Gamemaker gone Rebel: Plutarch Heavensbee! I was expecting someone a little older, but I think he'll do great!

Birthday Surprises

I felt something shaking me awake early on the morning of my 15th birthday. My eyes flashed open as I thought "Earthquake!" but there was no earthquake, as my eyes adjusted to the light I looked up to see Helena, Rue, Niall, Cinna, Hannah, Haymitch, Effie, Mom, Dad, Johanna, Reef, Nora (Reef's girlfriend), Uncle Finnick (read about Finnick's return here) and Aunt Annie standing over me.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!" They began as I sat up and laughed.
"Happy Birthday to Finch! Happy Birthday to you!" Niall gave me a kiss on the cheek (trust me when I say I turned redder than the rose on my bedside table at that!) and a present.
"Open it!" He exclaimed excitedly.
"Okay, okay, Mr. Patience!" I said ripping off the purple tissue paper. "Wow." Inside was a simple yet beautiful golden colored bracelet. Engraved on the top were the words "Always and Forever".
"Awwwww." Rue sighed as Niall blushed crimson.
"Shut up Rue! Oh Niall, its beautiful thank you!" I said giving him a hug.
"Open mine next!" Helena shoved a hastily wrapped parcel in my hand. I opened it to find a wooden framed picture of us the day we got our first bullseyes with our bows. We must have been about three, and we were both pointing excitedly at the arrows in the dead center.
"I love it! Thank you!" I threw my arms around her neck in a hug.
"Me next!" Rue plopped down on the bed, and handed me a present wrapped in blue waved patterned paper. Inside was a aqua blue (my favorite color!) journal with a golden lock and a matching key on a chain. I slipped the key necklace over my head as I thanked her.
"Its truly so beautiful! Your the best!"
My other presents included:
A set of throwing knives and axes from Johanna
A personalized Bible from Finnick and Annie (I read it daily :D)
A pretty coral bracelet from Reef and Nora
A subscription to a hilarious celebrity magazine called Capitol Teen from Haymitch, Effie and Hannah
A set of new arrows from Mom and Dad
A copy of a CD by a VERY old band that I love called One Direction from Cinna
And best of all a lovely day with my friends and family!

Ugh.
As I was saying Lalalalallaallalalaaalalalalal Rue is the best! we are traveling back home to I love you you love me we are a happy family District 12 and should arrive I think I'm gonna go hack someone else's account! Bye!
Thank goodness, now if you'll excuse me I must go have a word with Nora about what to teach Rue about computer hacking
